The Paradox of Investment in Infrastructure
5BCC Wed, 18 May 2016, 12:00pm AEST
The Minister will explore the paradox that while infrastructure is a highly attractive investment option, there is more demand for new infrastructure facilites than can be immediately funded by Government. He will discuss the division between infrastructure that produces a return and that which does not, as well as what role the market can play, and the policy responses that are available.
